Constancy
Poem
My first poem of 2026! Happy New Year to you all.
Constancy
The flakes that fall, then melt, will freeze
To icy danger on the walk.
There is more loveliness in these,
My love, than in your storm of talk.
The snowflakes change from day to day,
And you do too, but all their moods
Respeak the silent thoughts they say
When first they shake out from the clouds.

This is so refreshing to find you, a poet who doesn't just write formal poetry but does it well. Phenomenally well! You might want to check out my friend, Brooklyn Crane. He's fantastic too.
A strange way to tell your lover she talks to much and is to moody. Its effectiveness depends on the evocative beauty of the description of snow. It makes for a good poem but I am not sure it will help the relationship!
